个人简介

冉静老师长期致力于城乡规划学科国际前沿, 专注社会易损性(social vulnerability) 、韧性(resilience)及灾害风险(risk)的研究,并用这些概念来指导更加科学和可持续的城乡规划与建设,研究空间规划与灾害管理的协同整合,综合利用空间分析及数据挖掘技术进行地质灾害和气象灾害的社会韧性和灾害风险评估, 为城乡规划提供更科学的依据,力图通过规划途径有效

应对灾害。 冉静老师主持并参与了多项国际高水平科研项目,在地理与城市规划领域的国际高水平期刊及学术会议上发表论文数篇,是建筑学院丘陵城市规划研究中心骨干成员, 研究

专题方向为: 基于流域的雨洪安全格局规划方法、丘陵地区的自然灾害特征与社会脆弱性机制、总体规划与综合防灾、 GIS 技术在空间规划中的应用。

My research has sought to mitigate hazards and climate change through spatial planning and urban design, especially in finding the practical approach in different planning system and social context. In my PhD research, I focused on promoting the integration between spatial planning and flood risk management by tools of information and technologies, such as flood maps and Geo-portal, which proved to have a positive role in inspiring hazard-resilient planning policies, but it must work in a communicative environment with stakeholders of planners, public, and flood engineers. My ongoing and future research will focus on the concept and theory of resilience and social vulnerability, and how they can be applied to integrate hazard and climate change goals with spatial planning and urban design. My currently project, that collaborates with Manchester University, Cardiff University and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, conducts an international comparison study of hazard resilient cities from their risk evaluation to resilience developing pathways.
